About St. Michael Catholic School

- St. Lawrence and St. Mary Catholic schools in Muncie have a long tradition of providing a quality Catholic education to students. This tradition will continue in the Muncie Pastorate with the unification of St. Lawrence and St. Mary Catholic schools. The Muncie Pastorate will begin the 2021-2022 school year with a single Catholic school, St. Michael Catholic School, located on the parish campus of St. Mary, that will support the three parishes of St. Francis, St. Lawrence, and St. Mary. This unification of Catholic education allows for a single vision focused on building a community of Christ and growth of Catholic education in the Muncie Pastorate. The resources and financial support that the pastorate provides both schools will continue with a singular destination, which will better the Catholic education for students.
- St. Michael Catholic School is located at 2301 W. Gilbert Street in Muncie, Indiana on the campus of St. Mary Catholic Church. We are located directly south of IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and just minutes away from Ball State University. We serve students in preschool through 8th grade. We aim to rise above the ordinary by providing a Christ-centered education that is academically excellent.
